Tokyo International Flower Art Movie Competition
Application period/2023.8.15 – 2024.1.15 (Japan time)
The theme is “Moment of Bloom”
FAA (Flower Art Awards) has decided to hold a competition for florists as well as people of all genres of flowers for the theme. Simple photos taken with a smartphone. Those taken with a real camera and edited and processed. Original, animated works. Any format is acceptable. The only requirement for entry is that it be a 90-second video work. The theme is the moment when something you feel blooms. We will collect and present your 90-second video messages through “flowers” from all over the world. The winning films will be previewed in Tokyo Mitt Town and overseas. We are looking forward to seeing your 90-second movies that capture the moment of blooming flowers.
| Artwork Regulations
| Please create a video that uses flowers and plants as its main motif to convey the artist’s message and emotions. The filming equipment is free to use, but we ask that you send it to us by file delivery service or other means to complete the application process. Length of video: 90 seconds or less (edited or unedited) As a rule, copyrights and portrait rights for audio and text should be handled under the responsibility of the submitter. However, when you send your work, you may use existing music and copyrighted material, but we ask that you clear them before presenting your work in a public forum. Of course, videos without music are also acceptable. Video data (MOV or MP4) Frame: 1920 x 1080 recommended / File size: 20 GB or less recommended |
| Public Method Award Ceremony | The works are actively published mainly on the web magazine Moment of Plume and the portal site Hana Doki! and other sites. The works will also be shown at flower-related event locations and galleries in Europe, details of which will be published on the above two websites in the future.
